ABOUT

I am a Filipino-American painter based in the brutal, beautiful and curious city of Las Vegas, Nevada. I graduated from UNLV with a BFA in fine art in 2007. I also attended CSN and received graphic and web design certifications.

In 2020, my family and I started exploring new places in Nevada and the surrounding states with our small Jayco camper. Coming home with all the pictures and memories, I was inspired to paint landscapes for the first time. Ever since, I have fallen in love once again with the simple act of applying colorful gooey substances to a surface, and the challenge of creating something delightful and personal.

With oils and acrylics, my landscapes portray the Southwestern terrain and my inner experiences - awe of its landforms, peace, self-reflection, adventure, and spirituality. Coming from the lushness of California, seeing the charm of the desert took some time. Now I can’t unsee it.

Other than painting, I am busy with the daily happenings of family life as a stay-at-home mom. I appreciate a good cup of coffee, hearing the crunch of rocks under my hiking shoes, trying new restaurants and traveling with my husband and two kids.
